Graphic Facilitation Capability Development

I stood up the Graphic Facilitation capability at TiER1 Performance. Evaluating the initial landscape I uncovered a two-pronged issue. Firstly, Business Development had little awareness and no ability to articulate its value. Secondly, I was the only trained graphic facilitator. To address both issues I developed a PoV, business development toolkit, and series of four academy workshops. To ensure sustainment I created a mentorship program, network of business development evangelists, Teams® hub, and innovation allies. 

Engagement for the workshops was high, the cap of 15 attendees was reached within hours of release for each of the four sessions. The curriculum to train graphic facilitators is designed to be repurposed as a client workshop offering. 

The results were indisputably a success. Within a month of completion of the four sessions, TiER1 was completing an average of two client Graphic Facilitations per week, two Academy participants were moved into the mentorship program, and one additional person moved to full Graphic Facilitator. Awareness within the company went from zero to a high-demand differentiator capability.

The business development toolkit includes a single-slide illustrated value proposition, list of cues for when to suggest the capability, case studies, service level options including effort, estimates, and outputs.
